Joseph T. Wright is Managing Director and Head of Consultant Relations for Great Lakes Advisors and leads the firm’s Institutional sales, relationship management, and consultant relations teams.
Joe began his industry career in 1996 as a Financial Consultant at Dean Witter (later Morgan Stanley), and continued with Fidelity Investments in Chicago. From there, Joe worked at Calamos Investments, first in its wealth management group working with family offices and later as Director of Consultant Relations. Joe then served as Managing Director of Cimarron Asset Management, directing all institutional marketing, sales and client service. After working as Senior Director of Marketing and Client Service at Fiduciary Management Associates in Chicago, Joe worked as Senior Director of Institutional Markets at Aegon USA Investment Management.
Joe is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, former U.S. Navy officer and veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He is a member of the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE) and serves on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Chapter of the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association.
